10 Father’s Day Gift Ideas

June 6, 2014 By Matt 62 Comments

This year, Father’s Day is a bit different, seeing as it is my first one as a dad!  I’m really looking forward to spending the day with Jacque and Josslyn just counting my blessings!  Of course, Jacque wouldn’t let me leave it at that, she asked for a list of Father’s Day Gift Ideas!  So I’ve come up with 10 awesome gifts to share with you that are perfect for Father’s Day!

10-Father's-Day-Gift-Ideas

This post contains affiliate links.

Ballpark-Blueprint

Being that I am a die hard Boston Red Sox fan, having a Fenway Park Ballpark Blueprint would be an awesome addition to my office!  On our wedding day Jacque surprised me with cuff links made out of old Fenway Park seats.  I can say this type of print would give my wedding day gift a good run for it’s money as my all time top gift, hint hint.  These prints are exclusive to UncommonGoods and they offer a slew of different ballparks, so don’t tell her that they have one of Wrigley Field or she will be bugging me to get her one! (UncommonGoods $185)
Home-Plate-Welcome-Mat

Keeping on topic with things that I need in my office, I have to have this Home Plate Doormat!  This is a unique Father’s Day gift with a really affordable price perfect for any baseball loving dad!  If baseball isn’t your Dads idea of a good time make sure to check out all of the other incredible unique and often handmade Father’s Day gift ideas from UncommonGoods.  About 1/3 of the entire collections of goods offered incorporate recycled and/or upcycled materials which is music to our ears!  (UncommonGoods $22)

DTC-Karl's-Lunch Box

Working at the firehall, I need to have a lunch box big enough to hold multiple meals, plus, it would be nice to have something rugged and durable so that I’m not having to replace it every year.  That’s where Karl’s Lunch Box from the Duluth Trading Company comes into play!  This insulated lunch cooler would make any dad, the envy of the jobsite!  (duluthtradingcompany.com $79.50)
DTC-Nylon-Cap

I wear ball caps enough that some of my friends may not recognize me without one on!  The summer brings an added challenge in wearing a ball cap as I sweat a lot and no one wants to wear a sweat soaked hat.  This Duluth Flex Nylon Ball Cap would be great solution for the summer heat , as it’s lightweight and would dry out quick leaving me cooler and more comfortable! (duluthtradingcompany.com $22.50)
Fit-Bit-One

My sister, Sarah was the first person to introduce me to the Fitbit One.  She told me all about how it tracks your daily activity, including tracking elevations and even logging your sleep patterns!  The Fitbit One is a cool fitness tracker and would be great for the active dad in your life! (amazon.com $88.84)

Sol-Republic-HD-Tracks

I’ve always wanted a good pair of headphones, but I’ve always been turned off by the overpriced price tag!  So when I found the Sol Republic Track HD headphones for under $100, I was ready to buy them immediately!  You don’t have to spend $250 to get a great pair of headphones!  Don’t believe me, check the reviews, these headphones are the real deal! (amazon.com $79.75)

Arctic-Cove-18V-Bucket-Top-Mister

If you haven’t seen my review of the Arctic Cove 18V Bucket Top Misting Fan, you’ve got to check it out!  Whether your dad spends his time out on the lake or working out in the yard, this misting fan is a Father’s Day must have! (arcticcove.com $99.97)

Kobalt-40V-Max-Pole-Saw

For all of you that know me, you know that I love my Kobalt tools!  This Kobalt 40V Max Pole Saw should take the 2014 award for Most Valuable Outdoor Power Equipment!  Having a battery powered pole saw means no hassle starts, no bad.old fuel, and extremely low maintenance!  And if that’s not enough, it’s battery is interchangeable with 7 other 40V Max tools!  (lowes.com $169)
STOK-Quattro-Grill

I recently discovered the Stok Quattro Grill and I have to say, this is probably the coolest concept grill that I’ve ever seen!  It sports interchangeable grill inserts ranging from pizza stones, wok inserts, and even a kabob and rib rack just to name a few!  This grill is the ultimate in Father’s Day Gift ideas! (target.com $299.99)
Walnut-Wood-Wallet

This walnut wood wallet may be the coolest wallet I’ve ever seen!  It’s amazingly made out of a single piece of wood and is perfect for the craftsman in all of us!  (slimtimber.com $55)

That’s my top 10 list of Father’s Day Gift Ideas!  But, we’re not done yet!  We’ve partnered up with some of my favorite brands to bring you, our dedicated readers,  a Father’s Day Giveaway worth $444.00!

One lucky winner will win: $100 in gift cards from Duluth Trading Company ($50 for yourself and $50 for dear old dad!), a $75 gift card to UncommonGoods.com, an Arctic Cove 18V Bucket Top Misting Fan (So Cool!  Pun Intended!), and my MVP for Outdoor Power Tools, a Kobalt 40V Max Pole Saw!

Happy Father’s Day to all the Dad’s out there!

Disclosure: Duluth Trading Company, Uncommon Goods, Arctic Cove, and Lowe’s were kind enough to provide the giveaway items for this post.

If money was not a factor, I’d get my Dad a Harley motorcycle. He won’t admit just how much he loves them because he knows he could never afford one. I see the way his eyes light up when he sees or hears one on the road. He can’t help walking up to parked Harley’s with a huge grin and his hands behind his back. It’s as if he thinks that touching the bike might make the dream vanish. I think he wants one so bad…but he will never admit it. I dream that one day I can surprise…of course I’ll have to win a lottery first.

If money were not important – I’d get my dad a vacation. He’s such a hard working man, he could sure use some time to get away and relax. However, he does love the Duluth Trading Company and I know he’d would absolutely be thrilled to have the Men’s Fire Hose Work Pants, Men’s DuluthFlex Fire Hose Long Sleeve Work Shirt, and the Men’s Fleece-lined Fire Hose Work Pants. He’d also love to have the Recycled Wine Barrel Side Cabinet from Uncommon Goods.
