I shared with you all not long ago what my journey to become a mother was like just a few months ago when I shared Part 1 of Josslyn’s birth story. It was a long journey that I was almost convinced would never end with me holding a child in my arms. I was completely wrong and am glad that I never gave up hope. Without hope I would not be the mother to a vivacious, spirited, beautiful, intelligent daughter. I cannot thank God enough for giving me the chance to be a mom. I am sometimes reminded of my journey when I hear a song. And it is exactly what happened when I listened to Garth Brooks new single “Mom”.

It’s a beautiful song about a conversation between an unborn child and God. I cannot begin to express to you how close this song hits home to me. How many nights I sat up crying and praying to God to please just let me be a mother. After so many years of heartbreak and miscarriages I have always had comfort in knowing that God was taking care of my babies including all of my Angel babies!
From the first moment I held my precious daughter in my arms I knew I would never be the same. My love for her is unconditional and never changing. She will always be my daughter and I will always do everything in my power to make sure my miracle baby is safe and well cared for!
