DIY Monsters, Inc. Inspired Halloween Wreath

September 16, 2015 By Jacque 9 Comments

There has been a chill in the air at night the last few days and I for one and THRILLED to invite Fall into our home! I have so many favorites about Fall, the weather, the leaves, football, baseball, and the best, Little Bit’s birthday! This year she will be 2! I think I just choked a little even typing that! I have been debating on her birthday theme and I figured since she is a Halloween baby and our little monster then a Monster themed party would be perfect!  I am already planning our costumes, family style!  Fingers crossed the work out!  Keeping with the Monster theme I had an overwhelming need to make a new wreath.  Now Matt will tell you that I don’t need anymore wreath’s.  He mumbles something about not having room in the attic, but I think it’s more like we need to organize them better, hehe

Once you have all of your supplies gathered start by cutting the fabric large enough to wrap around the 18″ wreath form.Monsters, Inc. Inspired Mike Wazowski Halloween Wreath! Mike has two upper and one lower.  Fold a small section of fleece over, and spray into place with the adhesive. Continue the same process on the 2nd upper lid and the lower lid.  Use floral pins to attach the eye to the foam form.

I hung the completed Mike Wazowski wreath on the front door and showed Little Bit.  She had the biggest smile and said “EYE”! Unfortunately her 2nd encounter with the wreath wasn’t as enthusiastic as her first, seeing as she tried to hide from the giant eye looking at her but we will keep working on that!

That’s really creative. But I don’t think I could make something like that.
